CCS Facility Services stands as one of the United States' premier building service contractors, distinguished by a rich history of providing superior janitorial and facility engineering services. Operating extensively across the nation, CCS Facility Services supports thousands of commercial clients by maintaining their properties with a team of highly experienced cleaning and engineering experts. The company is grounded on a philosophy known as Service Heart, reflecting its unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations consistently. This ethos not only fuels the quality of their work but also fosters a positive, proactive workplace culture where employees feel valued and motivated. CCS is known for its stability, growth within the industry, and a clear focus on employee development and engagement, embodying a company built to serve not just customers but also its workforce.
The role of the Day Porter, based in Loveland, CO, is crucial within the fabric of CCS Facility Services' comprehensive maintenance operations. The primary responsibility for this position is the upkeep and cleanliness of common areas in office buildings, apartment complexes, and other commercial or institutional properties. This job is geared towards maintaining these spaces in a clean, orderly, and presentable state, which directly impacts the impression and safety experienced by tenants, visitors, and staff. The Day Porter role is hands-on and demands attention to detail, the physical ability to manage daily cleaning tasks, and the flexibility to respond to the dynamic needs throughout the workday.
In this role, the Day Porter will be tasked with multiple cleaning responsibilities such as spot cleaning glass doors in building lobbies, polishing chrome surfaces, vacuuming elevator cabs thoroughly twice daily, and ensuring trash is picked up and disposed of properly around the building exterior. Frequent inspection and cleaning duties include managing ashtrays and sand urns on each floor, restocking and checking restrooms twice a day, sweeping stairwells, vacuuming lobby carpets, and maintaining building entrances free of debris. This position also involves minor maintenance reporting responsibilities such as notifying management of any lighting issues or unauthorized solicitors. Additionally, the Day Porter will support the facility’s engineer as required, helping to facilitate smooth operations and timely resolution of minor facility issues.
CCS Facility Services emphasizes safety and security, expecting employees in this role to adhere to safety protocols rigorously and to demonstrate dependability and punctuality. The role is physically demanding with potential exposure to various environmental conditions, including moving machinery, outdoor weather, and occasional chemical handling. However, the company supports accommodating employees with disabilities to perform essential functions effectively.
CCS embodies a strong culture of internal growth and community, with core values centered on respect, integrity, and service. Employees enjoy a workplace where their contributions are recognized, and advancement opportunities are encouraged. Additionally, CCS offers a convenient daily pay option through DailyPay, reinforcing their commitment to employee financial well-being. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in facility maintenance and customer service, seeking a stable and reputable company with a supportive work environment and competitive compensation.
