The Day Porter role at Velociti Services is a vital position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of client locations during daytime hours. This role involves performing standard custodial tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and waste removal to ensure an inviting and hygienic environment. As a Day Porter, you will work closely with other team members and supervisors, supporting operational goals and responding professionally to directions and customer needs. Success in this role requires adherence to safety policies, teamwork, reliability, and a strong customer service orientation. You will also participate in regular communication with leads and managers and occasionally support shift leads during staff shortages or in completing specific punch-list items.

In addition to routine cleaning duties, your responsibilities will include maintaining restrooms and breakrooms, window cleaning, trash removal, floor sweeping and mopping, and ensuring all work areas meet company standards. Physical fitness is essential, as the position requires lifting up to 60 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, stretching, stair climbing, and standing for extended periods.
