The company is well-regarded in the industry for its commitment to excellence, proactive communication, and leadership in the field of property services. Their mission is centered on creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments through effective teamwork and accountability.
The role of Day Porter Lead at Katsam Property Services is a critical leadership position that sets the standard for property maintenance and team performance. This hands-on role involves overseeing the daily operations of assigned commercial properties and managing a team of Day Porters to ensure that all client expectations and company quality standards are consistently met. They play an essential role in training and onboarding new employees, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. In addition to their administrative and leadership responsibilities, these professionals lead by example by participating in porter duties as needed, maintaining a hands-on approach to property care.
This position requires a deep understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. Day Porter Leads are also responsible for ongoing communication with property managers and tenants to maintain strong working relationships and promptly address any concerns.
Employing a Day Porter Lead at Katsam Property Services also means contributing to a company culture that values accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service delivery. The role commands a high level of responsibility including monitoring attendance, productivity, and performance of the team, as well as reporting staffing, equipment, and maintenance concerns to the Operations Manager. Katsam provides an enriching work environment that encourages growth and development, aligning with its mission to lead by example and deliver outstanding property services.
