Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish
- ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to walk stairs and large properties regularly
- previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- basic proficiency with mobile devices for time keeping and document review
- reliable and punctual work attendance
- ability to work independently and outdoors
- pass a pre-employment background check
- pass a drug screening
- pass a physical endurance test relevant to job requirements
Job Qualifications
- strong communicator in English or Spanish - both written and verbal
- familiar with using a mobile device such as a cell phone or tablet regularly for time keeping and document review
- enjoys providing friendly customer service
- reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- comfortable working independently
- physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
- experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred but not required)
Job Duties
- keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
- pick up trash and empty receptacles
- sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
- clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
- clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
- remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
- walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
- report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
- always use required safety equipment
