The Day Porter / Janitorial Driver position at Action Cleaning Services offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Full-time work hours are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, while part-time hours cover weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The hourly wage for this role ranges between $21.00 and $22.50, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive compensation for hardworking individuals. Candidates will be responsible for operating cleaning vans owned by the company, along with performing janitorial duties essential to upholding client satisfaction.

As a Day Porter / Janitorial Driver, responsibilities include maintaining floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, cleaning glass and mirrored surfaces, dusting fixtures and furniture, disinfecting sinks, toilets, and walls, restocking necessary consumables such as toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels, and managing waste by emptying trash and separating recycling materials. Candidates in this role must be physically capable of standing, reaching, kneeling, lifting, and walking continuously throughout their shifts. Moreover, familiarity with commercial cleaning methods is essential to deliver quality outcomes.

The position also requires a good driving record and a valid driver’s license held for at least two years, as the role involves operating company vehicles safely to transport cleaning equipment and supplies to various client sites. Communication skills are equally important, with the need to effectively speak, read, and write in English to report on progress and coordinate with team members and supervisors. Reliable transportation and phone service are necessary to ensure timely attendance and availability for communication during working hours.
