The Facilities Group Hawaii (TFG HI) is a well-established facilities maintenance company formed through the combination of two reputable local businesses that have served Hawaii for over 50 years. TFG HI specializes in providing comprehensive commercial building maintenance and cleaning services to a diverse range of clients across the island. These services include daily janitorial work, carpet cleaning, floor stripping and coating, pressure washing, sanitizing, as well as general building maintenance and repairs. Job Requirements
- Flexibility to work up to 40+ hours per week
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness of diverse client areas
- Consistent reliability and efficiency
- Professional demeanor with high integrity
- Ability to learn and follow company procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform physical activities like standing, walking, bending, sweeping, and lifting
- Must be able to work nights and weekends if required
- Hiring contingent on clearing a criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior janitorial or housekeeping experience highly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and follow specific instructions
- Basic English proficiency with clear communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with good time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks required
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of office suites, restrooms, and outdoor and indoor common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning products and methods effectively
- Demonstrate reliability, efficiency, and high commitment to service excellence
- Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and self-discipline
- Adapt to and learn TFG HI specific cleaning processes
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Assist in applying janitorial or housekeeping skills as needed
