Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- previous janitorial or custodial experience preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment
- good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required
Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping and dusting of all common areas lobbies waiting rooms hallways and restrooms
- disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs handrails light switches and elevator buttons
- empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines including outside and around the building
- refill dispensers for soap paper towels and toilet paper as needed
- monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered
- assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary
- collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety
- report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- follow all safety protocols and procedures including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- perform other tasks and projects as requested by the customer and or Advanced Building Maintenance Inc team
