This particular opportunity is for a janitorial position with a scheduled workweek from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering an hourly wage of $16.00. The janitor's role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the office or commercial building assigned. Responsibilities range from routine cleaning of offices, lobbies, and common areas to specific tasks such as restroom sanitation, trash removal, floor cleaning, dusting, and furniture polishing.

The janitorial staff member is expected to operate walk-behind floor cleaning machines where applicable, restock supplies in bathrooms and break rooms, and ensure janitorial equipment and closets are kept in safe and operable condition. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various movements such as walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching throughout the shift. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and handle equipment such as a backpack vacuum cleaner.

Proficiency in English is highly recommended to enhance communication with colleagues and clients, facilitating smooth operational workflows. Although this proficiency is not mandatory, it is valued for better collaboration. The job may also require flexibility for overtime, schedule adjustments, and holiday work as needed, highlighting the dynamic nature of the position.
