This position is for a Day Porter role at CCS Facility Services. The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in common areas of office and commercial buildings such as lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms. This role is critical to the daily appearance and functionality of the facility, directly impacting customer and tenant satisfaction. The Day Porter ensures that the environment remains presentable and safe by performing routine cleaning tasks such as spot cleaning doors, vacuuming, trash removal, and monitoring restrooms. Additional duties include polishing chrome fixtures, removing debris from landscaped areas, and reporting maintenance issues to management.

Job Requirements

- Prior experience in janitorial or custodian roles preferred
- Ability to lift and move objects as required

Job Duties
- Spot clean the lobby glass doors
- Polish chrome on lobby doors
- Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
- Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
- Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
- Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
- Check restrooms twice daily
- Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
- Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
- Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
- Sweep building entrances
- Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
- Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office
- Report any solicitors to the Management Office
- Police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Police at high-traffic times daily
- Empty all trash receptacles
- Vacuum carpeted floors
- Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
- Polish elevator cab railings, doors, and main lobby call buttons
- Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion
