The role of the Janitorial Staff at EDGE Building Services involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of various property areas including parking lots, sidewalks, smoking areas, dumpster enclosures, restrooms, and other common spaces. This position is critical in ensuring a safe, inviting, and well-maintained environment for both clients and visitors. The janitorial duties are scheduled from Monday to Thursday from 5am to 12pm and on Friday from 10am to 12pm. Employees in this role must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, performing assigned tasks with attention to detail and professionalism. Responsibilities include spot cleaning glass surfaces to remove fingerprints and smudges, emptying trash receptacles, policing parking lots and traffic areas for debris, mopping spills, and maintaining restrooms by cleaning surfaces and restocking supplies. Janitorial staff will also report any mechanical, plumbing, or electrical issues, and inform supervisors of any property damage encountered during shifts.

This position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality janitorial services and who enjoy being part of a team-focused, positive workplace. Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory, as EDGE Building Services provides opportunities for on-the-job training.
