We are currently seeking an experienced Day Porter to join our team in the West End area of Nashville, TN. This role is specifically positioned within a school environment, providing an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe educational setting. As a Day Porter, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of offices, meeting areas, break rooms, restrooms, and other common spaces. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The convenient location on a bus route further adds to the accessibility of the role.

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the school environment remains spotless, sanitized, and welcoming for staff, students, and visitors alike. Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing various areas in the building, as well as performing any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor. The ideal candidate should possess a great attitude, a strong focus on customer service, and the physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Prior experience in janitorial roles is preferred, along with the ability to understand English for communication purposes.
