The role of Day Porter at CSG is a full-time or part-time position offering a compensation range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. As a Day Porter, the successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring that all assigned public areas are kept clean, tidy, and free from rubbish and debris. This includes routine cleaning tasks as well as deep cleaning projects to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.

The Day Porter acts as the frontline ambassador to residents and guests, providing assistance when needed and promoting a friendly and positive environment. Responsibilities include cleaning all public areas to required standards, maintaining and cleaning equipment daily, posting necessary caution signs to ensure safety, and promptly reporting any injuries, damages, or missing items to the Public Area Supervisor. The role demands reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, coupled with the ability to work independently and responsibly handle cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment.

In this physically demanding role, the Day Porter must be able to operate and use various cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, stand for long periods, lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Weekend and holiday availability may be required, emphasizing the need for flexibility.
