This position entails performing essential cleaning and maintenance duties such as spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome on lobby doors, vacuuming elevator cabs, and maintaining cleanliness in stairwells and building entrances. Additionally, the Day Porter monitors restrooms, handles exterior trash receptacles, inspects building exteriors for litter, and supports the building engineer as directed.
This role is well-suited for individuals who take pride in their work, exhibit strong dependability, and possess a proactive approach to maintaining building environments. The Day Porter contributes greatly to the overall image and operational success of the facility. Employees in this role benefit from a supportive team atmosphere, adherence to safety standards, and opportunities to develop their skills within a stable and reputable company.
The position offers a pay rate of $14.00 per hour and the opportunity to work in a lively and engaging environment with a company that values integrity and service. CCS Facility Services emphasizes the importance of punctuality, dependability, and a commitment to safety, reflecting our core values and service-driven culture. Our work environment includes exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasional encounters with mechanical parts, requiring attentiveness and adherence to safety protocols.
In joining CCS Facility Services, Day Porters become part of a company that recognizes, invests in, and promotes its people from within. Employees experience a sense of community and partnership with colleagues who share a dedication to providing the best possible service to employees and customers alike.
