The Day Porter role at ABM is a crucial position focused on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order across assigned facilities during daytime hours. This position supports the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, ensuring employees, clients, and visitors experience a positive and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces. The Day Porter also performs restroom sanitation, replenishes supplies, empties trash and recycling bins according to company policies, and cleans windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. Proper maintenance and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies are essential, along with timely reporting of any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.

In addition to routine cleaning, the Day Porter assists with setting up and cleaning up for meetings, events, and special projects when needed. Strict adherence to safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation is paramount in this role. The position is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning to it with limited experience and education. Job Duties
