Job Description

TOK is a locally and independently owned company founded in 1991 that has established itself as the leading commercial real estate firm in Idaho. With over three decades of commitment to excellence, TOK has grown a reputation for providing unmatched property management and real estate services. The company prides itself on maintaining strong relationships with its clients and tenants, ensuring properties remain attractive, functional, and profitable. TOK has been recognized consistently by its employees as one of Idaho's Best Places to Work for nineteen consecutive years, reflecting a workplace culture centered on teamwork, innovation, and employee satisfaction. This recognition underscores TOK’s commitment not only to its clients, but also to creating a positive, engaging work environment for its staff.

The role of a Day Porter Technician at TOK is a critical position focused on maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the commercial properties assigned. This role serves as the first point of contact for tenants and property managers regarding property appearance, representing the company’s commitment to high standards and customer service. The Day Porter Technician is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including general maintenance, trash collection, cobweb removal, cleaning dumpster areas, and ensuring that entryways are clean and presentable. Seasonal duties include power washing of building exteriors and sidewalks to uphold a professional and welcoming atmosphere at all times.

Additionally, the Day Porter Technician assists in the installation and removal of TOK marketing signage, ensures vacant spaces are ready and presentable for viewing, and takes active responsibility for identifying and reporting safety hazards immediately. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with management to ensure maintenance tasks and work orders are completed efficiently and satisfactorily. The ability to provide recommendations and problem-solving solutions is essential, reflecting TOK’s emphasis on innovation and teamwork.

The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, highly resourceful, and capable of working independently with limited technical guidance. Reliability and predictable attendance are essential due to the hands-on nature of the work and its importance to preserving property aesthetics and tenant satisfaction. This role also demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that include lifting, walking, bending, and occasional ladder use, often in outdoor environments subject to varying weather conditions.

Overall, this position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and property care. Joining TOK means becoming part of a dedicated team that values professional growth, consistent communication, and legendary customer service within Idaho's leading real estate firm.
