The Day Porter role at Realberry is an important position focused on maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial properties. This position requires a reliable and hardworking individual who can drive a company truck to multiple sites daily, collect trash, and perform general exterior upkeep to ensure the properties remain tidy, safe, and attractive. The role involves a blend of physical labor, vehicle operations, and interaction with tenants and visitors. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for tasks like removing debris from parking lots and sidewalks, emptying trash receptacles, performing light groundskeeping, and inspecting properties for any safety or maintenance issues. Additionally, you will maintain the company vehicle and adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws. This role is mainly full-time with the possibility of part-time hours as needed, typically working day shifts Monday through Friday with occasional weekends if required. Job Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
ability to operate a pickup truck or light-duty company vehicle safely
ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
prior porter, janitorial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

Drive a company truck to assigned properties on a daily route
pick up trash and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and common spaces
empty exterior trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
perform light groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, blowing debris, and minor cleanup tasks
inspect properties for cleanliness, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
report damages, hazards, vandalism, or repair needs to management
maintain company vehicle in clean and safe operating condition
follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws
provide courteous and professional interactions with tenants, vendors, and the public
