The role currently available at Pegasus is a commercial janitorial position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering a competitive hourly rate of $19.00. This position is critical in maintaining the hygiene and upkeep of office buildings and other commercial facilities. The janitorial staff member will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across a broad spectrum of areas, performing tasks that contribute significantly to the health, safety, and satisfaction of building occupants. Duties include washing and sanitizing cookware, emptying and cleaning dishwashers, cleaning offices, lobbies, and corridors, restocking restrooms and break rooms, and managing waste disposal by emptying trash cans and replacing trash bags. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in operating floor cleaning machines, polishing furniture and fixtures, maintaining janitorial equipment, cleaning overhead vents and dusting blinds, and performing occasional miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The position demands physical stamina as it requires standing for entire shifts and engaging in activities such as walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Applicants must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and carrying equipment like a 12-pound backpack vacuum. Good hygiene practices are mandatory to meet the standards expected by Pegasus and its clientele. While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to ensure effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients, thereby facilitating smooth operations throughout the workday.
