SBM Management is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their expanding team. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and overall professionalism of client locations, contributing directly to the company's ongoing growth and success. The position is a regular part-time role, offering an hourly wage of $13.00 to $14.00. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Custodian/CSR will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and working collaboratively with team members to uphold SBM's high standards. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and good judgment in decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to creating positive experiences for both clients and coworkers.
The Custodian/CSR will engage in a variety of duties that include floor care such as vacuuming and mopping, surface care involving dusting and sanitizing, waste removal, and light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply areas. This role demands adherence to safety protocols, the use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Custodians will be expected to assist in maintaining common areas, ensuring spaces such as lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, and kitchens are clean, orderly, and well-stocked. Additionally, the Custodian/CSR will provide support during event turnovers and demonstrate a professional appearance and manner at all times.

Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require you have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus, not required

- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, polishing metal and wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash and waste to disposal areas
- light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- use proper personal protective equipment
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand reporting systems and environmental standards
- transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- clean and straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
- pick up trash, recycling, and compost and transport to proper disposal areas
- assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- damp mop floors
- clean elevators
- spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- dust open common spaces
