SBM Management is a well-established company dedicated to providing exceptional custodial and customer service solutions as it continues to grow and expand. With a strong focus on employee satisfaction and career advancement, SBM Management fosters a supportive and innovative work environment that encourages teamwork, integrity, and compassion. The company prides itself on maintaining a turnover rate one-fourth the national average, highlighting its commitment to professional and personal growth for every team member. SBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce regardless of race, sex, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, citizenship, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally protected statuses.

SBM Management is currently seeking a Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their dynamic team. This full-time role, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, offers compensation ranging from $16.25 to $17.25 per hour. The Custodian/CSR is a vital part of the company’s operations, responsible for maintaining clean and safe environments while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This position requires dependable, hardworking individuals who can provide excellent customer service skills and work effectively alongside co-workers and customers.

The Custodian/CSR role involves a variety of responsibilities, including floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting; surface care tasks like dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies. Waste removal duties include emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas. The role also encompasses light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms. In addition to hands-on custodial duties, employees must adhere strictly to safety rules, company policies, and procedures, using proper personal protective equipment and maintaining a professional appearance.

Beyond technical duties, the Custodian/CSR must exhibit sound judgement in decision-making, communicate effectively using simple language, and understand both oral and written instructions. This position sometimes involves training or demonstrating tasks to colleagues, reflecting SBM Management's emphasis on teamwork and shared knowledge. Additional day-to-day tasks may include transporting small equipment and furniture, cleaning lobbies and conference rooms, restocking restrooms and break rooms, cleaning elevators, spot-cleaning upholstery and carpets, and maintaining organized janitorial closets.

SBM Management values customer service highly in this role, seeking individuals who show commitment to quality work and positive interactions with clients and co-workers. Reliability and a focus on safety ensure that the workplace remains secure and welcoming for everyone. Individuals with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, as well as those who can display strong basic math, reading, and communication skills, are ideal candidates. Bilingual abilities are considered an asset, although not required.

Joining SBM Management means becoming part of a team with a strong commitment to employee growth and satisfaction. The company supports career development through innovative programs and a supportive management structure, making it an excellent choice for those seeking long-term employment in a positive and stable environment.
