We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced School Custodian to join our team, providing general cleaning duties within designated areas at K-12 schools, colleges, or university campuses. This role is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education, as on-the-job training is provided. As a School Custodian, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and order in various campus locations, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways. Duties involve sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces; emptying trash receptacles; recycling; and using chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to uphold facility standards. You will also be tasked with basic upkeep activities such as monitoring for repairs, maintaining communication with supervisors and co-workers, and performing seasonal outdoor tasks like snow removal and lawn care. Attention to detail and adherence to safety, security, and quality standards are essential in this role.
