This position is for a reliable Part-time Day Porter Janitorial Cleaner, crucial to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across assigned facilities. Offering $18.00 per hour, this part-time role has specific shifts on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (6.5 hours each) and Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (7 hours). The hourly pay reflects the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic location relative to market data.
As a Day Porter Janitorial Cleaner, you will be performing a variety of cleaning tasks that safeguard a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The role demands attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with responsibilities ranging from sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, to polishing floors and surfaces, alongside cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and restocking necessary supplies. You will also manage waste disposal, clean windows and glass surfaces, maintain cleaning equipment, and report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors. This role occasionally supports event setups and cleanups, ensuring seamless operations and impeccable conditions.

- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
- Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
