The role being offered is for a Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR), designed to help SBM Management continue shining in its service quality. The Custodian/CSR position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 5am to 1:30pm, providing a balanced work-life routine. Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
  • Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to lift and move small equipment and supplies
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 5am to 1:30pm

Job Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers, multiplication and division with 10’s and 100’s
  • Knowledge of American measures such as money, weight, size, length, and volume
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal, wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting trash to proper disposal areas
  • Conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Use proper personal protective equipment and present a professional appearance
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
