Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- must provide proof of work authorization and complete I-9 and E-Verify process
- must complete pre-employment background check if applicable
- must complete pre-employment drug screen if applicable
- must complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check if applicable
- physically able to stand for entire shifts, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push, kneel, and crouch
- must be able to lift 35 lbs and carry 12 lb backpack vacuum
- open availability including overtime, schedule adjustments, and holiday work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- janitorial experience preferred but not required
- open availability to accommodate overtime and schedule changes
- proficiency in English to communicate effectively
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas
- cleaning and restocking restrooms
- emptying trash cans around the property and replacing trash bags
- cleaning corridors and stairwells
- removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting and wiping down all surfaces
- vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines if applicable
- cleaning and polishing furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures
- performing End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift
- miscellaneous duties as assigned
- restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- maintaining janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients
