Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial setting preferred
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- willingness to perform routine tasks consistently
- ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily
- must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers
- must provide a criminal background check
- must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
- must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training

Job Duties
- Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed
- remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti
- use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to all safety precautions
- report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors
- follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment
- ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met
- perform all other duties as assigned
