Job Description

Holladay is a dedicated real estate investment and management company focused on enriching lives through thoughtful investment and exceptional service. With a strong commitment to maintaining and enhancing its property portfolio, Holladay strives to create inviting, safe, and attractive environments for tenants, clients, and the surrounding communities. The company’s mission to enrich lives through investment and service guides its daily operations, fostering a culture that values entrepreneurial spirit, nurture, respect, integrity, community, and health. Holladay takes pride in its proactive approach to property management and its dedication to upholding high standards in all aspects of the real estate experience, ensuring that every property under its care remains well-maintained and welcoming at all times.

The Day Porter position at Holladay is a vital role that directly supports the company’s mission by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of assigned properties. This full-time role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around maintaining the exterior and interior cleanliness and functionality of the properties. The Day Porter works closely with the Property Manager to perform overall housekeeping services, maintain grounds care, and assist with tasks that enhance the visual appeal and safety of the property. This role also plays a key part in preparing vacant suites for new tenants, ensuring these spaces are in impeccable condition for move-in.

Key duties include regular inspection of the property, removal of trash and debris, sweeping of parking lots and walkways, cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas, and upkeep of external fixtures and lighting. Additionally, the Day Porter is responsible for light landscaping activities such as planting flowers, watering plants, mowing grass, weeding, and snow removal as needed. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently while supporting on-site staff effectively. Holladay emphasizes the importance of service competency, including excellent client and tenant relations, composure under pressure, critical thinking, and task completion.

This position offers a salary range of $18 to $21 per hour, which is subject to adjustment based on experience, qualifications, and regional market conditions. While this role does not have supervisory responsibilities, it provides meaningful opportunities for professional growth within Holladay. Associates with more than 12 months of service and a satisfactory performance record may request consideration for transfer to other roles as vacancies arise, fostering career development within the company.

At Holladay, the Day Porter is more than a maintenance role; it is an opportunity to be part of a company that values innovation, community support, respect for others, integrity, and holistic health. Joining Holladay means becoming part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of clients, tenants, and communities through dedicated service and investment excellence. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and want to contribute to a company where their efforts directly enhance the quality of living spaces and tenant satisfaction.
