SBM Management is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. This position offers an immediate opportunity to become part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and delivering excellent customer service. The working hours for this role are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and compensation ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to fair and competitive wages. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Mathematical skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers and multiplication and division with 10’s and 100’s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, and volume
  • Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces such as dusting, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
  • Conduct light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
  • Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop at-risk behavior
  • Follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules while taking direction and responding to supervision
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
  • straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
  • Perform restroom cleaning and glass cleaning
  • Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
  • dust open common spaces
  • Clean elevators and restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
