Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must pass appropriate background checks
- ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40lbs
- ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies
- ability to move quickly and efficiently in work environments
- good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- clear vision with or without correction
- ability to differentiate color-coded signs and cables
- ability to work in varied temperature environments
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- capability to work in elevated noise levels with hearing protection
- possession of valid driver’s license for work travel if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- customer service experience preferred
- 1 year of similar work experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures
- basic understanding of safety, security, and compliance standards
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and use equipment
- ability to work in various environmental conditions
Job Duties
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- use chemical cleaners and power equipment following procedures
- dust and wash furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- clean ceilings and light fixtures
- move cabinets, boxes, and furniture to clean areas
- remove stains using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- clean and vacuum carpeted areas
- gather and empty trash
- wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- service, clean, and supply restrooms
- periodically clean vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture
- clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors
- set up and remove decorations and furniture for events
- maintain janitor’s closet and equipment
- requisition cleaning supplies and equipment
- monitor building security and safety
- perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
