The Day Porter’s responsibilities include a wide range of tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectants, and disposing of trash and recycling materials properly. Beyond routine cleaning, the Day Porter plays a pivotal role in maintaining the facility's operational integrity by notifying management about needed repairs or maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues that could affect facility performance.

Moreover, the Day Porter must foster positive communication and collaborative relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and management, supporting a team-oriented environment.
