Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and understand simple words and numbers
- Clear printing and basic verbal communication skills
- Effective communication with supervisors and customers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of American measurement units
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance if driving
- Willingness to adhere to safety rules and use protective equipment
- Availability to work Sunday through Wednesday from 6 am to 4:30 pm
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Know American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time and proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Performing light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures and preventing risky behaviors
- Following company protocols, policies, and rules and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment and presenting a professional appearance
