With over 8,000 dedicated associates, 4M operates extensively across more than 30 states in the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeastern regions of the United States. The company places a strong emphasis on fostering an exceptional family culture, prioritizing safety and innovation, which has earned it recognition as one of America's Best Midsized Employers. Their commitment to creating a positive, supportive work environment is evident through their highly respected culture, comprehensive training programs, and ample opportunities for career advancement.
Joining 4M means becoming part of a winning team committed to delivering outstanding service and making lasting, positive impressions every single day. The company values energetic, motivated individuals who are eager to grow professionally, whether they are seeking part-time work or a long-term career. Their open-door policy towards training ensures that all new employees, regardless of prior experience, receive the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed and thrive in their roles. 4M maintains a transparent and supportive workplace where team members feel empowered and valued.
The Day Matron/Porter role at 4M is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work and contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of facilities. This position offers a consistent schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly pay rate of $16.00. As a Day Matron/Porter, your responsibilities will include performing light duty maintenance tasks, replenishing restroom supplies such as paper and tissue, assisting with moves, inventorying supplies, and coordinating with meeting setups. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting facility operations. While some janitorial experience is preferred, 4M provides comprehensive training based on proven processes that enable team members to excel.
This role is ideal for individuals who want to work in an environment that values teamwork, culture, and professional development. 4M offers competitive pay along with numerous benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, a robust 401k plan with employer match, paid vacation for full-time team members, and daily pay availability. The company is committed to employee safety, requiring adherence to social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment in line with OSHA requirements. Reliable transportation is necessary for this role to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.
In joining 4M, you’re not just taking a job; you’re gaining access to limitless growth opportunities, career advancement, and the chance to be part of a culture that celebrates its people.
