Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings or evenings if required
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical capability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in janitorial or facility maintenance work is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Good communication skills to report issues to management
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Spot clean lobby glass doors
- Polish chrome on lobby doors
- Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
- Inspect building exterior and pick up any trash
- Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
- Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
- Check restrooms twice daily
- Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
- Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
- Remove debris from landscaped areas as needed
- Sweep building entrances
- Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
- Report any lights out to Management Office
- Report any solicitors to Management Office
- Police lobby to keep floors and planters free of debris and empty trash receptacles
- Vacuum carpeted floors
- Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
- Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
- Assist building engineer daily per management discretion
