The role of a Coffee Barista at Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters is an exciting opportunity for any individual passionate about coffee and customer service. Baristas are responsible for preparing the highest quality hot and cold coffee beverages based on carefully crafted recipes and methodologies, ensuring each drink meets the company’s exacting standards. They greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently, delivering a seamless customer experience.

Baristas also manage the cleanliness and organization of the store, including setting up and breaking down workstations, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining the overall appearance of the establishment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Positive and motivated attitude
