Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a TS/SCI Cleared Database Administrator to join their elite team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community. This pivotal role centers around the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) Program, which focuses on centralizing and standardizing the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the DoD and Intelligence Community enterprise. The program integrates both off-the-shelf and newly developed software solutions to sustain and enhance the TCPED platform while leveraging cutting-edge capabilities such as cloud-based computing, AI, ML, and cross-domain transfer systems. These technologies are critical to providing advanced data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics services for Defense and Intelligence professionals.

In this role, the Database Administrator will play a key part in developing and maintaining a complex data centric architecture supporting mission-critical intelligence workflows. Tasks include extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) heterogeneous datasets, administering and upgrading multiple database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), and designing data models and schemas to optimize performance and reliability. The candidate will work closely with a diverse and highly technical engineering team in an Agile environment, contributing to system design sessions and supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines. The work environment blends mostly onsite presence at the client location in Bethesda, Maryland, with a flexible schedule allowing occasional remote work.

This position requires not only technical expertise but also a strong understanding of security requirements, as the candidate must hold or be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and possess certifications required for privileged access, including Security+ and cloud certificates. Experience with cloud platforms, performance tuning, database health monitoring, API design, and data access controls is vital.
