The role of Data Center Facilities Technician at Salute is a critical and versatile position designed for individuals skilled in a broad spectrum of maintenance and repair tasks. This role focuses primarily on non-critical building and grounds maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of client facilities. Key responsibilities include on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair, with guidance and direction from the Client Project Manager or designated personnel. The position is based in Council Bluffs, IA, and Papillion, NE, and supports the operational needs of hyperscale data centers. The Technician contributes to a safe and efficient facility environment by handling various maintenance duties such as general area upkeep, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, as well as seasonal tasks like snow removal and landscaping. Additionally, the role involves industrial cleaning, HVAC filter replacement, furniture assembly, event setups, and special projects like carpet cleaning.

Salute offers a competitive hourly wage for this role, ranging from $22 to $24 per hour. Physical fitness is important for handling tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments under various weather and temperature conditions. Excellent communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and a safety-conscious mindset are essential traits for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with HVAC systems, critical facility maintenance, and construction finishing.
