The Bartender role is central to our operations, demanding not only technical bartending skills but also exceptional interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous bartending experience, with the capability to prepare and pour a wide range of beverages, including entertainment pouring to engage and entertain our guests. This role includes handling cash transactions accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar, and providing guests with up-to-date information on current property events, promotions, and attractions. The bartender must be physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and performing various physical tasks such as stooping, bending, and reaching. In addition, the successful candidate must be prepared to work any day or shift, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude. This position also requires obtaining the Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification, reflecting our commitment to responsible alcohol service. Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Two years previous experience as a bartender
- Must be able to obtain Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification
- Must have dexterity and capability to learn entertainment pouring
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must present a professional and pleasant appearance
- Must be able to work any day, any shift
- Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team
- Must be willing to participate in ongoing training in the beverage field
- Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

- Able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring drinks
- Able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counter
- Able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets

- Able to operate a variety of equipment
- Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers
- Must present a pleasant and professional appearance
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled and noisy environment and maneuver through assigned area
- Must be able to converse over the telephone in a noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- Two years previous experience as a bartender

Job Duties
- Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner
- Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and servers upon request
- Provides entertainment for guests through entertainment pouring
- Provides property information on current events, promotions and attractions to customers
- Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately and presents customer with bar receipt
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies
