This position is for a Cynch Delivery Representative, a vital role within AmeriGas that supports the company’s propane delivery services by transporting and exchanging propane gas grill cylinders (20-pound tanks) to residential homes, businesses, and retail customers including ACE locations. It is a non-CDL driver position which involves driving a pickup truck to make timely and accurate deliveries following designated routes provided via the Cynch iPad. The role involves exchanging empty propane tanks left by customers with filled tanks, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Residential customers usually place their empty tanks on their front porch for easy pickup and replacement, while business customers like restaurants, bars, and apartment complexes regularly receive replenishments of tanks used for patio heaters and grills. Additionally, deliveries are made to ACE stores where tanks are stored in cages in front of convenience stores for resale to end-users.

The Cynch Delivery Representative is responsible not only for logistics and delivery but also for maintaining high safety standards and complying with all regulatory protocols related to propane handling and transportation. Daily activities include preparing the truck with the required tanks, conducting pre-trip inspections, ensuring secure loading, and obtaining required signatures from commercial and hospitality customers to guarantee accurate delivery records. End-of-day tasks involve unloading the truck and helping maintain organizational standards in the yard. This position requires physical endurance, as it involves regularly lifting propane tanks weighing over 30 pounds throughout the workday.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old, possess reliable transportation to and from work, and be willing to work weekends. Applicants must also pass a background check, including a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and a pre-employment drug test to meet AmeriGas’s standards as a drug-free workplace and federal contractor engaged in safety-sensitive operations. The hourly pay rate for the Cynch Delivery Representative position ranges from $21.00 to $22.00, Competitive compensation is based on skills, qualifications, certifications, experience, and market factors.
