Job Description

The City of Grapevine is a vibrant and dynamic municipality known for its rich history, cultural festivals, and community-focused initiatives. As a popular destination in Texas, Grapevine hosts numerous events and festivals annually that attract visitors both locally and from afar. The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) plays a crucial role in promoting tourism and supporting events that highlight the city's unique character and attractions. The CVB is tasked with fostering economic growth and community engagement by increasing awareness and participation in Grapevine's events and festivals. The CVB is committed to maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners to enhance the overall festival experience for attendees and stakeholders. This organization stands out for its collaborative approach, innovative marketing strategies, and dedication to delivering high-quality events that celebrate Grapevine's heritage and community spirit.

The Sponsorship Sales Manager role at the Grapevine CVB is a key position responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of sales sponsorship initiatives that support various festivals, events, and assets managed by the bureau. This full-time position requires a proactive and results-oriented professional who can identify, solicit, and secure sponsorships to meet or exceed annual financial goals. Flexibility is crucial in this role, as it involves working irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, along with physically assisting with event setup and teardown as needed. The ability to perform outdoor duties that may require prolonged standing and walking during festivals and special events is also necessary. A valid Texas driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings are mandatory.

The City of Grapevine offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package for this regular full-time position, including vacation, holiday, and sick leave, medical, dental, and life insurance. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in sponsorship and marketing to contribute to the success of some of Texas's most beloved community events while growing professionally in a supportive and engaging work environment.
