Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written

- Ability to handle high volume of work and time sensitive work

- Experience interacting with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management
Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various sources such as databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
- Perform data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and participating government agencies
- Maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal departments, other FedEx operations, and customers to ensure high level of service
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Handle remote filings as needed
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
