FedEx Logistics is a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics solutions, specializing in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and international shipping services. As part of the FedEx family, the company leverages its extensive network and industry expertise to offer a wide range of services including ocean and air freight forwarding, surface transportation, distribution, trade advisory, and e-commerce facilitation. The position focuses on providing exceptional customer service in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. The primary responsibility is to ensure the timely release and movement of freight by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and various internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to proactively identify and resolve issues that may delay cargo movement, manage billing and payment processes, and maintain accurate data records.

Furthermore, the role involves negotiating transportation rates, providing freight quotes, and coordinating post-entry activities on behalf of customers to support smooth import and export operations. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and other federal requirements pertinent to their area of expertise, such as Customs House Brokerage, air, ocean, or surface transportation. Familiarity with classification systems like the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and relevant regulations for hazardous materials or export licensing is highly valued.

FedEx Logistics also offers paid training to enhance your skills and knowledge, alongside benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement opportunities. The role demands excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workloads independently and with great attention to detail. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to grow their career in logistics and international trade within a globally recognized company committed to employee development and customer satisfaction.
