Joining Airlite as a Customer Support Specialist means becoming an essential contributor to the company’s success in Omaha, NE. This full-time role involves providing transactional and operational support for customer order processing within a designated business unit. The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for managing cradle-to-grave order activities, ensuring that customer orders are entered with accuracy, scheduled accurately, and fulfilled in alignment with manufacturing and logistics requirements. This position requires close collaboration with various internal teams including production planning, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to guarantee on-time delivery and excellent customer service.
The role is critical for maintaining proper communication both internally and externally. The ideal candidate is organized, capable of handling multiple priorities, and able to foster partnerships within the team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including de-escalation techniques, are essential for dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and at least one year of relevant customer service, order processing, logistics, or administrative experience is required, with preference given to candidates with manufacturing experience.
Employees at Airlite enjoy working in a supportive atmosphere where integrity and mutual respect guide every interaction.
