The Customer Service Representative role at UniFirst is a vital position responsible for bridging communication between customers and the company. This full-time role operates on a 5-day workweek schedule, granting employees weekends off, which supports a healthy work-life balance. UniFirst offers on-the-job training to ensure new team members are well-prepared and supported as they start their careers. This position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email, processing accounts receivable duties including handling outstanding accounts and managing credits and exchanges, resolving conflicts through established escalation processes, and providing administrative support to the sales team. The role also requires basic data entry and general administrative assistance, emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, and professional communication.
Ideal candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be attentive listeners, and show responsiveness and a personable attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams is essential. - minimum two years of customer service experience preferred
- prior accounts receivable experience encouraged
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications
- Two years of customer service experience in an administrative setting preferred

Job Duties
- Assist customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services by telephone or email
- provide excellent customer service to both customers and UniFirst personnel
- perform accounts receivable duties including calling on outstanding accounts, processing credits and exchanges, and resolving account conflicts through UniFirst's escalation process
- partner and provide administrative support to UniFirst's Sales Department
- perform basic data entry and other administrative duties
