Lee Health is recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and fostering a supportive environment that allows team members to grow professionally while helping children achieve optimal vision health.
The Customer Service Representative position at Lee Health Pediatrics Ophthalmology offers an exciting full-time career opportunity, ideally suited for individuals who take pride in making a difference in the lives of children and their families. This role operates during Day Shift 1, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a competitive starting pay rate of $20.00 to $23.50 per hour. Working in this role, you will become the first point of contact for patients visiting the pediatric ophthalmology office, embodying the warm and welcoming spirit for which Lee Health is known. Your responsibilities will center around delivering outstanding customer service, managing patient scheduling, verifying insurance details, and ensuring a smooth, seamless experience for every family that walks through the doors.
At Lee Health Pediatrics, employees aren’t just providing routine healthcare administration functions—they’re actively contributing to a mission that prioritizes pediatric patients’ well-being and their family’s peace of mind. The role demands strong organizational skills and a compassionate demeanor, as you help register patients accurately, collect co-pays, and maintain precise electronic medical records. Because this position supports providers and clinical staff, a collaborative and communicative approach is vital to help the team deliver coordinated and efficient care.
This role is not only a chance to engage directly with children and families but also to grow within a large, respected healthcare organization offering comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities. With paid time off, health, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans including employer matches, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs, Lee Health demonstrates its commitment to employee satisfaction and career growth. If you are passionate about pediatric care, customer service excellence, and desire to thrive in a dynamic outpatient setting, this role offers an invaluable career path to build and expand your healthcare experience while serving the community’s youngest patients.
