This role as a Customer Service Representative at Parker's Kitchen offers an exciting opportunity to be the front line in delivering fast, accurate, and friendly service to every customer. Handling cash and fuel transactions, managing sales of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products with strict adherence to age regulations, and performing various retail shift duties will be part of the daily workflow. Additionally, operational duties such as inventory stocking, maintaining cleanliness through tasks like dusting, sweeping, and mopping, and assisting store leaders with a variety of tasks are essential responsibilities. Parker’s Kitchen demands flexibility in work hours, requiring availability during nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure the store meets customer needs at all times. This position requires stamina and physical effort, including standing for extended periods and the ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older to work in store operations
  • must be 16 years of age to work in kitchen operations
  • must have reliable transportation
  • flexible availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods ranging from 8 to 10 hours
  • ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience is an asset
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • strong attention to detail
  • capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • trustworthy and honest with handling cash and sensitive transactions

Job Duties

  • responsible for alcohol, tobacco, lottery sales, and other age-regulated products

  • stock and replenish inventory throughout the store, including food and beverage areas, to ensure products and supplies are consistently in stock
  • perform all store housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash, to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • assist the store leader with additional tasks as needed
