The role of Receptionist & Service Coordinator at Indy Mahindru State Farm is an office-based position located in Seaside, CA, with an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $23.00. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service from the moment they walk into the office or contact the agency by phone. The Receptionist & Service Coordinator is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, providing accurate and timely policy information, supporting clients with policy updates and changes, and answering inquiries with a friendly, knowledgeable approach. Candidates with Spanish proficiency are highly preferred due to the significant volume of Spanish-speaking clients.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or insurance-related role preferred
  • proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • willingness to undergo licensing and coaching for insurance
  • ability to work Monday to Friday during office hours
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach
  • previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred
  • willingness to obtain and maintain insurance licensing with support and reimbursement from the agency

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone, providing timely and accurate policy information
