Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
  • 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities
  • maintain reliable attendance
  • thrive in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and retail system transactions
  • at least 1 year of customer service, office, or administrative experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to thrive in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
  • provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications
  • assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all documentation is complete and approvals are obtained
  • process customer credit applications and assist with financing arrangements while maintaining accurate account information
  • follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions
  • address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to management as necessary
  • support management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering documentation and verifying accuracy
  • maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure proper filing of sales and office paperwork
  • work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient operations
  • utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, and Microsoft Office Suite to perform job duties
  • complete any additional tasks assigned by management
