The Customer Service Representative at Ashley Furniture serves as the front-line ambassador responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive customer experiences. This role acts as the primary point of contact for customers, handling various administrative duties to support store operations and office functions. Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
- 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities
- Maintain reliable attendance
- Thrive in a team environment

Job Duties
- Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
- Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications
- Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete and approvals obtained
- Process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information
- Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions under Office Manager supervision
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to management when needed
- Support management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation
- Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure paperwork is properly completed and filed
- Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience
- Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management
