The role available is for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Customer Service Representative (CSR), a critical position responsible for providing direct support to customers in navigating healthcare programs. The CSR will interact with individuals primarily via telephone, emails, web chats, and written communication, addressing basic and routine inquiries related to health benefits. Working within a team environment, the CSR uses computerized systems to troubleshoot issues, track cases, and relay accurate information to clients. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a service-oriented mindset as representatives are often assisting some of the most vulnerable community members. Successful candidates will receive paid, comprehensive training to develop their skills, learn about specific regulations including HIPAA privacy rules, and familiarize themselves with the company’s policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to speak and read Spanish fluently
  • Ability to work within established turnaround times
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Must participate and certify in internal CCO training to begin this role
  • Medicare participants must certify in Tier I Claims Part A Claims Part B and Claims DME training
  • May be required to work overtime and scheduled holidays
  • Must work on-site at office location
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Job Duties

  • May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials secondary sources or more senior staff
  • Provide timely responses to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner using pre-scripted responses
  • Follow policies and standard operating procedures such as filling out timesheets adhering to privacy and HIPAA rules
