Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional guest service by greeting and thanking customers respectfully, conducting point-of-sale transactions accurately and safely, and maintaining cash drawer integrity through proper reconciliation. Facility cleanliness is a continuous priority, involving indoor and outdoor station areas, including restrooms, fuel islands, pumps, and car wash facilities when applicable. Employees prepare food and beverages, manage foodservice inventory effectively to maximize sales and minimize losses, and promote store specials and marketing programs actively.

Additional duties involve verifying the accuracy of delivered goods, stocking shelves in retail and cooler locations diligently, and adhering to local laws for fueling vehicles in Oregon. The role requires physical stamina with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform lifting and bending tasks using proper techniques, and work safely around high-temperature equipment with appropriate personal protective equipment. Exposure to outdoor conditions and cold storage environments is part of the daily work setting.

CSI expects regular and punctual attendance and values employees who can handle challenging situations professionally, exercise good judgment, and work independently or as part of a team. Employees must be proficient in English to understand policies and communicate effectively and possess up-to-date food handling certificates where applicable.
