Job Description

Uline is a well-established, family-owned company recognized as North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials. With a robust workforce of over 9,800 employees spread across 14 locations, Uline is renowned for its commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service. The company prides itself on offering a stable and successful working environment where employees are valued and growth opportunities abound. Uline's Washington Branch is located at 3131 Hogum Bay Road NE, Lacey, WA 98516, and operates with a focus on fast, friendly, and customer-centered service. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, with significant growth and earning potential attached, making it an attractive opportunity for those eager to build a rewarding career in customer service.

As a Customer Service Representative at Uline, you will play a vital role in maintaining the legendary service that customers have come to expect. Your responsibility will be to dive deep into order details to effectively manage customer inquiries, process orders, and make tailored product recommendations. The role is structured as a full-time, on-site position with various shifts offered to accommodate a range of schedules. This setup encourages collaboration within a professional environment that fosters development and connection among peers. You'll be equipped with world-class technology to help you handle account inquiries and provide timely, accurate information regarding products, pricing, and shipping. Additionally, the company offers comprehensive training that emphasizes communication, problem solving, and product knowledge, preparing you to become a product and solutions expert.

Working at Uline means more than just handling customer requests; it’s about building long-lasting business relationships via phone, email, and live chat channels. Understanding customer needs and offering the best solutions from Uline's extensive product catalog are central to the role. You will also assist customers in navigating the company's website and online ordering system, ensuring a smooth user experience. Beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you will have opportunities to grow professionally with one-on-one peer mentoring and participation in regular team events designed to strengthen workplace camaraderie.

Uline’s dedication to employee welfare is reflected in the outstanding benefits package, including complete health insurance coverage, 401(k) with a 6% employer match starting from day one, multiple bonus programs, paid holidays, and generous paid time off. The company also offers a Tuition Assistance Program covering professional continuing education to support ongoing career development. As part of its commitment to a drug-free workplace, Uline requires pre-employment hair follicle drug screening for all new hires, excluding marijuana testing for non-safety sensitive roles. Working at Uline provides access to best-in-class, modern facilities and a first-class fitness center, enhancing both your professional and personal life. As an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, Uline embraces diversity and inclusivity in its workforce.
