The Customer Service Representative role is a pivotal position within Ashley Furniture's retail environment, acting as the front-line ambassador for the brand. Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- at least 18 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
- preferred 1 year of customer service, office, or administrative experience
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays with rotation for store opening and closing
- maintain reliable attendance
- thrive in a team environment

Job Duties
- Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
- provide exceptional customer service through in-person, phone, and email communications
- assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all documentation is complete and approvals obtained
- process customer credit applications and assist with financing arrangements maintaining accurate customer account information
- follow established cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions under supervision
- address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues while ensuring resolution
- support operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation
- maintain accurate records and prepare routine reports
- collaborate with sales team and other store associates to ensure seamless operations
- utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, and Microsoft Office Suite to perform duties
- complete additional tasks as assigned by management
